Overview

The position of Patient Liaison officer Grade VII occupies a pivotal role within the structure of Connolly Hospital. It encompasses both managerial and administrative responsibilities. The Patient Liaison Officer leads staff in providing a quality service to our patients and their families with emphasis on improving communications, obtaining patient feedback and implementing initiatives for improvement . In addition, the Patient Liaison Officer will ensure that the Hospital meets the legislative requirements of Section 9 of the Health Act in line with the Your Service Your Say Policy and Open Disclosure Policies.

Essential Criteria

Each candidate must on closing date for applications:

  • Have experience in handling patient feedback, using data for improvement and patient engagement strategies.
And
  • Have experience working in an Acute General Hospital
And
  • Have experience working at a minimum of Grade V or equivalent
Post Specific Requirements:

Have the managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role including report writing skills

Desirible Requirements:

Experience in working in a clinical role in healthcare
