Bar Tenders / Food & Beverage Assistants

We are seeking passionate and experienced Bar Tenders and Food & Beverage service staff to join our dynamic hotel team. As a Team Member, you will be part of a team crafting unforgettable experiences for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills in a fast-paced, high-standard environment under the mentorship of our management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Exceptional Guest Engagement: Welcome guests warmly, ensuring they feel valued and offering personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
  2. Beverage Expertise: Prepare and serve an extensive range of beverages, including wines, beers, spirits, and expertly crafted cocktails.
  3. Menu Knowledge: Promote and sell food and drink offerings from our outlets, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of our menus.
  4. Order Management: Record and process guest orders promptly and accurately, ensuring every detail is attended to.
  5. Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficiently stocked bar area always.
  6. Compliance & Professionalism: Adhere to liquor laws, hotel policies, and health and safety regulations while remaining courteous and professional.
  7. Atmosphere Creation: Contribute to a relaxed yet professional environment that we create and encourage guest loyalty.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work with the wider Food and Beverage Team to deliver a seamless and memorable experience for all guests.
Requirements:
  1. The ideal candidate must be aged 18 or over.
  2. Hours of work will vary to include day and evening shifts, and you must be available to work midweek, weekends and public holidays as required.
  3. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel.
  4. Mixology is advantageous.
  5. Knowledge of wines, spirits, whiskeys, beers, and cocktail preparation is a must.
  6. Impeccable personal presentation and grooming, aligned with the highest standards, is required.
  7. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, coupled with excellent communication skills, is essential.
  8. Strong multitasking skills and the ability to remain calm, solution-oriented, and proactive under pressure.
  9. A genuine passion for hospitality and a dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
