Overview

The successful candidate will support the Grid & Electrical Team in the management of Electrical Engineering matters involved in the delivery of a wide range of large-scale renewable projects, including Wind, Solar & Battery Storage. The role involves involvement in project stages from development, tendering, construction, commissioning, to handover to Energia Operations Team. Projects will involve working with Electrical Contractors, OEMs, External Consultants, ESBN, EirGrid, NIE & SONI at voltages from LV up to 220 kV.

The role requires coordinating and delivering Electrical Engineering matters across multiple projects and stakeholders to ensure successful execution and handover to operations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Grid & Electrical Team in the management of Electrical Engineering matters for large-scale renewable projects (Wind, Solar, Battery Storage).
  • Involvement across project stages: development, tendering, construction, commissioning, and handover to Energia Operations Team.
  • Collaborate with Electrical Contractors, OEMs, External Consultants, ESBN, EirGrid, NIE & SONI at voltages from LV to 220 kV.
What you'll need
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design and construction of HV/MV substations.
  • Experience in the delivery of HV/MV electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Full Driving Licence.
