Dublin City Council is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Arts Officer.

The role involves supporting the City Arts Officer in implementing the City Arts Plan 2024–2028 and working collaboratively to promote the arts across Dublin. Responsibilities include managing arts programmes, fostering relationships with artists and communities, and overseeing arts grants and public art initiatives.

Applicants must hold a Level 8 qualification in arts, arts administration, or a related discipline and possess at least three years' relevant experience. Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills are essential, alongside knowledge of the Arts Act 2003 and public art guidelines.

The position is permanent, with a starting salary of €55,641. Applications must be submitted by midnight on Friday, 10 January 2025.
