Overview

Structural Engineer with 1-3+ years' experience is required to join one of the leading engineering consultancies in Ireland. You will be involved in the design and project management of structural engineering projects for a wide range of clients valued between €3M - €3B. The role supports progression toward Chartered status with Engineers Ireland and suits someone with a strong foundation in building design.

Responsibilities
  • Involved in the design and project management of structural engineering projects for a wide range of clients valued between €3M - €3B.
  • Work toward Chartered status with Engineers Ireland.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on residential, commercial and educational projects.
  • Support project delivery from concept through to construction documentation.

Sample Projects:

  • Residential developments including 600-1,200 houses, low-rise apartments, creche facilities, retail, 13-17 storey towers. Values: €140M - €400M.
  • Commercial offices – Mixed-use developments including offices, apartments, retail, entertainment, museum. Values: €250M - €400M.
  • Education – Two new schools. Value: €50M.
Requirements
  • Masters / Degree in structural engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-3+ years post-graduate experience in Ireland or the UK.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and progress.
  • Salary circa €45k – €55k+; excellent benefits package – full details available on application.
