Social Care Worker

Location: Carlow

Attuned Programmes Ireland is an organization dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals through community, residential, and aftercare supports and services.

We are seeking highly motivated Social Care Workers to join our teams. We are currently recruiting for Full-time, Part-time, and Ad-hoc positions for our Adult Disability service in Carlow. Our goal is to support individuals where they are and to help them achieve positive outcomes in a safe and respectful manner, considering their unique needs.

General Job Description

The successful candidates will be dedicated, highly motivated, and possess high levels of competence demonstrated through their qualifications and experience. They should have an understanding of regulatory requirements, best practice standards, and the diverse needs of individuals. The role involves supporting individuals in developing self-care and independent living skills and helping them reach their personal goals.

Requirements
  • Minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care or relevant equivalency.
  • Knowledge of HIQA Standards in Residential Centres.
  • Proficient communication, IT, report writing, and planning skills.
  • Subject to Garda clearance.
  • A full driving license is desirable.
  • A deep commitment to individual rights and protection, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
