Overview

Multi Drop Delivery Driver (B-C Programme) – Dublin. This role is with Sysco Ireland and is offered with support and training to obtain or upgrade to a Category C Licence within 6-12 months.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Category B Licence driver who is working towards, or wishes to obtain, their Category C Licence with company training and funding provided.

Responsibilities
  • Provide multi drop delivery to customers in the Dublin region.
  • Deliver customer orders on multiple drops, accurately and on time, while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Build excellent customer relationships and resolve customer queries where possible.
  • Check and complete invoices and paperwork on time and within specification.
  • Complete daily checks on vehicles and loads.
  • Adhere to all Basic Food Safety requirements; report damages, accidents and issues relating to Food Safety.
  • Work efficiently, proactively and maintain health and safety consciousness in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meet or exceed established accuracy levels and ensure all products are delivered in saleable condition.
  • Collect monies (cash and cheques) against invoices as required.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by Management.
  • Maintain Category B Driving Licence until successful completion of Category C Licence training and testing.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Category B Driving Licence (required).
    Offer conditional on obtaining Category C Licence within 6-12 months of commencement.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to solve basic problems and make routine decisions; accurate and orderly paperwork.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Good organisational and prioritising skills to complete tasks on time.
  • Previous multi drop delivery experience is desirable.
  • Good geographical knowledge; temperature-controlled experience advantageous but not required as full training will be provided.
