Join Our Team as a Finance Business Partner

Are you ready to step into a dynamic role where your financial expertise directly impacts the success of a growing quick-service business?

We are a proud Cork family business with over 55 years of experience in the food sector, dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and service. Our journey began with a single location, and today, we operate seven thriving stores alongside a state-of-the-art production warehouse, where we create all our own products. We currently employ in excess of 100 employees. Our commitment to innovation and excellence has been the cornerstone of our success. As we continue to grow, we're excited to expand our drive-thru portfolio, increasing our customer base.

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our finance team in a newly created role designed to support the financial health of our quick service outlets. This role will blend strategic financial expertise with hands-on support to managers and key stakeholders, enabling the business to achieve optimal financial performance. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong ability to analyse data, provide actionable insights, and collaborate effectively with operational leaders. The role is grounded in financial expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance management. The FBP will use their skills to interpret financial data and connect it to business strategies. As part of the finance team the FBP will work directly with other areas of the business such as stores, marketing, operations and production, acting as an advisor to help them understand the financial impact of their actions and decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee the financial performance of all quick service outlets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports tailored to operational needs.
  • Set sales targets as well as planning and executing strategies to achieve them.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets and forecasts to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Track key KPIs and EBITDA.

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with outlet managers to identify financial opportunities and risks, driving data-informed decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights into profitability, cost management and financial strategies.
  • Deliver financial training and guidance to non-finance managers enhancing their understanding of key metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and events that drive footfall and increase customer engagement.
  • Act as a financial business partner to store managers and key stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment that drives performance improvements.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to evaluate spending patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Retail Support

  • Develop and implement financial processes to improve efficiency and accountability at outlet levels.
  • Analyse and track performance metrics, such as labour costs, stock management, and sales, to enhance profitability across the business.
  • Support managers in planning and executing financial aspects of business initiatives or expansions.

Business Development

  • Evaluate Capital investments and project feasibility.
  • Lead the financial piece of capital project execution.
  • Develop and execute an IT strategy that aligns with business goals, ensuring seamless integration of POS systems and our finance software for fast sales data access.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies across outlets.
  • Conduct periodic audits to mitigate financial risks and improve controls.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: A qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaboration: Proven experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
