Overview

A leading insurance provider is seeking a Product and Pricing Manager to join their General Insurance division. This is a senior position that plays a key role in shaping product strategy, driving profitability, and ensuring the delivery of competitive and customer-focused pricing solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of product and pricing strategies across General Insurance lines.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and internal performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and refine pricing models to ensure profitability and sustainability.
  • Work closely with underwriting, finance, actuarial, and distribution teams to align pricing and product initiatives with business objectives.
  • Provide insight and recommendations to senior leadership on product performance and pricing strategy.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance in all product and pricing activities.
  • Lead and mentor a small team, fostering collaboration and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a pricing, product management, or actuarial role within the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of General Insurance products and market dynamics.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance commercial priorities with customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in managing or mentoring teams is an advantage.
