The SVG team is seeking a Lead AI Software Engineer to join our Cadence Design Systems team. As an AI Software Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for developing and evaluating AI infrastructures for multiple Electronic Design Automation (EDA) solutions and projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of computational software and artificial intelligence, helping shape Cadence''s innovative solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and development of Agentic AI infrastructures and features, while delivering high-quality and performant results.
  • Evaluation of existing and emerging AI technologies and tools appropriate for specific EDA problems.
  • Reporting and documenting on AI processes and results.
  • Communicate, learn from, and educate other engineers in the theory and best practices of applying AI.
  • Collaborate with junior and senior colleagues, cross teams and external customers.
Job Qualifications
  • Good degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development best practices and OO Design principles and patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a diverse/multi-cultural environment.
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and willingness to experiment with new technologies and tools.
  • Self-motivated, independent, yet highly collaborative, flexible and open to multiple points of view.
Nice To Haves
  • Experience or understanding of electronic design.
  • Experience developing in a Linux environment.
  • Experience dealing with customers & external stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills.
