The Finance competency at EY is a multifaceted team that focuses on providing expert guidance and support to clients in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, managing and analysing finance and risk data, and implementing finance transformation initiatives.

EY's FSO Business Consulting are experiencing an exciting period of growth due to the financial services sector undergoing rapid transformative changes. In response to market demand, we are looking for an experienced senior manager with proven expertise in leadership of complex finance transformation delivery projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage or support engagements with our clients and provide high quality consulting services to a portfolio of clients.
  • Understand EY's service offerings and actively support in identifying opportunities to better serve clients.
  • Develop and maintain long term client relationships and networks.
  • Assist on business development opportunities and support proposal development efforts.
  • Manage innovation in processes and systems, leveraging technology to enhance client performance.

Practice and People Development Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead diverse teams with varying skillsets.
  • Adapt your leadership style to fit team, client, and cultural needs.
  • Engage in business development activities including input to client presentations and proposals.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive and growth team-oriented work culture.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Excellent client relationship management skills.
  • Proven track record in relevant management and leadership roles in data centric projects.
  • Expertise in key Finance Regulatory reporting or Regulatory change programmes.
  • Understanding of finance processes, finance technologies and operating models.
  • Minimum of 7+ years in delivering regulatory reporting or finance transformation programmes.
  • An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) applied in a financial institution would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of technology trends and implications on the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience of delivering change through multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, supervise and develop others.
  • Experience with SQL, data governance tooling, BI Tools and data platforms.
