Site Engineer - South Wicklow

Salary/Package: Vehicle, Pension, Bonus

Due to continued expansion, a Tier 1 Main Contractor is looking for a Site Engineer based in Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow. You will be part of a company that has established itself at the forefront of the construction industry. This company delivers high-specification projects across sectors including Pharmaceutical, Educational, Residential, Commercial, and Fitout. Committed to innovation, the company offers a dynamic and growing team environment. In this role, you will act as the link between the Design Team and the Site Manager/Subcontractors.

Role responsibilities:

  1. Engage daily/hourly with subcontractors to clarify scope and resolve detailed issues.

  2. Provide information to Site Manager and subcontractors; assist with material quantification and ordering.

  3. Guide the setting-out and graduate engineers in their roles.

  4. Review cube reports, rebar drawings, manage CAD work, and track project progress weekly.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Engineering Degree

  2. 5+ years' experience

  3. Strong time management and communication skills are essential, along with computer literacy, report preparation, and paperwork administration.
