Cloud Security Architect, AWS ProServe India

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

At Amazon, security is a top priority. We are seeking security architects passionate about Cloud Security. Ideal candidates have experience with AWS Cloud, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, Network Security, Cloud Security Assessment, Penetration Testing, Application Security Assessment, Compliance Audits, Cryptography, and are interested in helping customers adopt cloud technologies. This role is suitable for security architects with experience in regulated industries like banking, insurance, PSUs, or as security architects in system integrators.

Key job responsibilities

The security architect will assist customers in implementing core AWS security services such as Amazon Identity and Access Management (IAM), Key Management System, CloudHSM, AWS Organizations, Web Application Firewall, AWS Network Firewall, and GWLB-based Security Appliances. They should have implementation knowledge to deliver DevSecOps pipelines with IaC scanners, SAST, DAST tools in the SDLC.

Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas is mandatory:

  1. Identity and Access Management
  2. Data Encryption
  3. Network Security
  4. Incident Response
  5. Security Automation

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3)
  • Experience implementing AWS services in distributed environments
  • 8+ years of IT implementation experience
  • 8+ years programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++, or similar
  • Experience leading highly-available, fault-tolerant deployments

Additional experience in cloud computing technologies, infrastructure, and virtualization is preferred.
