IT Infrastructure and Support Specialist

Role Description

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will work within a small team to deliver scalable, reliable, redundant, and secure IT infrastructure. The role involves support and project implementation, primarily on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Support of 270 end users across sites (Level 1/2/3 support).
• Project management of third-party services.
• Lead technical resource on internal projects.
• Continuous improvement of IT tools and services.
• Administration of existing environment.
• Suggest service improvements.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Language Requirements

Successful candidates will have:

• Project and Service Management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and customer service.
• Physical skills for cabling and related tasks.
• Technical skills including:
  • Server technology (VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server 2012/2016).
  • Office 365 Suite (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Backup technologies (Veamm, Spanning).
  • SOC/SIEM (Barracuda Skout).
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Self-driven and autonomous work ethic.
• Growth mindset.Desired Qualifications
  

Third-level degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering/Technical field.

Desired Experience

Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
