Technical Sales Manager

We are a global leader in animal nutrition, sustainability, and agri-food innovation, working with farmers, feed mills, and food processors to improve animal health, farm productivity, and environmental impact. Our solutions span the dairy, beef, pork, poultry, and egg sectors, with a strong focus on sustainability initiatives such as carbon sequestration, water quality, manure management, biogas, and animal health.
The RoleWe are seeking a Dutch-speaking Technical Sales Manager to support and grow our business in the Benelux region. Based either at our Alltech European Bioscience Centre in Dunboyne, Ireland, or in the Netherlands, this role combines sales, marketing, and technical support.
You will work with our existing customer base, proactively develop new opportunities, and drive projects that deliver measurable results across the animal nutrition supply chain. This is a customer-facing, autonomous role with scope for significant impact.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers across the Netherlands and Belgium.
- Provide technical support to farmers, feed mills, distributors, and supply chain partners.
- Drive projects that result in product adoption, sustainability outcomes, and commercial sales.
- Develop connections with key influencers, including researchers, journalists, and policymakers.
- Collaborate with food processors and industry stakeholders to embed sustainability initiatives.
- Deliver commercial growth while promoting animal productivity, health, and welfare.
- A degree in Animal Science (or related field such as nutrition, microbiology, veterinary, or agri-science).
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to grow sales.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, self-managed, and comfortable working with autonomy.
- Passion for animal science, sustainability, and innovation.
- Fluent Dutch with professional English proficiency.
