The Role:

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, advising on a diverse range of litigation matters including challenges to planning decisions, licensing and enforcement enquiries, drafting of charges, and statutory interpretation of all planning and environmental legislation.

The candidate will play a key role in high-profile litigation matters, advising a broad client base of national and international clients on planning and environmental challenges. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Advise on planning and environmental litigation, including challenges to planning decisions, licensing and enforcement inquiries, and statutory interpretation of planning and environmental legislation.
  • Contribute to high-profile litigation matters and manage client relationships.
  • Support business development activities and grow a client base.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years' PQE
  • Strong background in litigation, judicial review, and planning and environment
  • Strong academics
  • Technically excellent
  • Supervisory skills
  • Willingness to become involved in business development
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
