Job Description:McHale Plant Sales is an appointed distributor of Komatsu construction & forestry machinery, Metso, Jonsson & MDS crushing & screening equipment, Merlo telescopic handlers, Prinoth tracked carriers and mulchers, Topcon & Komatsu machine control systems, Komatsu hydraulic breakers, Engcon tilt rotators, Lenhoff dedicated quick couplers and attachments, and xWatch machine safety systems. The company also provides spare parts and repairs for all products represented and operates throughout Ireland and the UK from its depots based at Birdhill Co. Tipperary, Rathcoole Co. Dublin, and Tamworth UK.
We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Yard Operative / Heavy Plant and Equipment Cleaner
This position will be based at our Dublin depot, in Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole.
This role involves:
- Power-washing and cleaning large construction equipment units upon arrival from site.
- Washing and cleaning new and used construction machinery to prepare for sale.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the machinery display area.
- Performing yard duties including forklift operation for loading and unloading trucks, and assisting in the workshop.
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, organized, and safe, following health and safety guidelines.
- Operating heavy plant such as diggers and wheel loaders is an advantage.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
