Are you passionate about food innovation and keen to shape the future of pet nutrition? C&D Foods, one of Europe's largest pet food manufacturers, is looking for a driven R&D Technologist to join our Research & Development team in Edgeworthstown.
In this role, you'll work on the full journey of product development—from idea to launch—across a variety of pet food formats. You'll collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, safe, and innovative products that meet market and customer needs.
What you'll be doing- Leading and supporting new product development projects from concept to launch.
- Modifying and improving existing products to meet customer expectations.
- Designing recipes and overseeing nutritional, palatability, and analytical trials.
- Preparing product specifications and supporting customer visits, audits, and presentations.
- Working closely with internal teams and external partners to bring new ideas to life.
- A degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Animal Science, or similar.
- At least 2 years' experience in NPD (food or pet food industry preferred).
- Strong technical knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and nutrition.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative team player with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
