Plio Surgical is a Dublin based, award winning Medtech start-up, developing a magnetic, minimally invasive implant for gastrointestinal surgery. We're advancing rapidly toward clinical trials and regulatory approval and we're looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the charge.

As CTO, you'll shape our product development strategy through design verification, First-in-Human trials, CE and FDA submission and commercial launch. You'll build the engineering team and contribute as a member of the executive leadership team to fundraising, commercial planning and investor relations.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Proven track record of bringing a Class II or III medical device from concept through clinical trials to market.
  • Deep knowledge of design control, human factors engineering, and risk management in the context of ISO 13485 and FDA/MDR regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working in start-up or early-stage environments is highly desirable.
