Opportunity:

Working as a Consultant in EmergencyMedicinewithin the HSE (Ireland'spublic health system)you'llprovidehigh-quality care to patients in the Emergency Medicinedepartment at this leading teaching hospital inCounty Limerick.

Where possible, the post holder will participate with academic and clinical colleagues to enhance the hospital'sresearch activities within the research governance framework.

This role is not asubstantive post but will be a relativelylong-term contract of 1 yearwith a view of going permanent.

  • Basic Salary scale between €233,527- €280,513in accordance with the HSE 2023 Consultant contract
  • Up to €20,000 on call

Essential Criteria

  • Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialityof Emergency Medicine, or be eligible to obtain specialist registration.
  • Working towards Specialist Registration of the IMC - be in place or close to completion.
  • start position within 3 months
