Staff Software Engineer (Java)

Dublin (Remote in Ireland)

Salary: €130K - €150K p/a + RSUs | Bonus | Health | Pension etc

Technologies: Java | AWS | Big Data

We are a US HQ'd SAAS company with a growing Dublin office, currently employing around 20 engineers in Ireland and aiming to almost double that this year.

In terms of the technical challenge, we can rival some of the most interesting product companies in Ireland. We process 50 Terabytes of data daily, managing 300 Billion transactions per day with a 30% growth year on year. Our backends utilize Java, AWS cloud, and we engage extensively with Big Data tools (Spark, Hive, Kafka, etc).

We are open to remote work anywhere in Ireland, but it would be ideal if you were commutable to Dublin. We offer top overall compensation, including RSUs and a bonus package.

Experience:
  1. 10+ years' experience in Software Engineering
  2. JVM Development experience (Java ideal)
  3. Experience in the AWS ecosystem
  4. End-to-end development experience
  5. An appetite to work with Big Data (Tools like Spark, etc.)
  6. Expert problem solver
