An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join our growing team involved with the leisure industry.

We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant with 2 years' post qualification experience. Within this role, the successful candidate will drive and develop our financial Strategy on an operational and strategic level. They will be a key member of the team and report directly to the Group Financial Controller.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Full ownership of the function.
  • Overall responsibility for implementing the financial strategy of the company.
  • Managing cash flow management, balance sheet management and financial reporting of the company.
  • Completion of weekly management accounts including P&L accounts, KPI's and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide financial analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of actuals and forecasts.
  • Providing financial leadership to drive better business results and operating efficiencies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all tax obligations.
  • Management of Annual Audit.

Key Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business required.
  • Professional certification (ACCA/ACA/CPA/CIMA).
  • Strong business acumen and business partnering skills.
  • High degree of initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability required.
  • Must be detailed-oriented and deadline sensitive.
  • Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
  • A proven track record in a similar role within a busy environment.
  • 20-24 Hours over five days, Job Type: Part-time
