The Website Project Team, within the External Relations Office, are seeking an experienced Web Content Specialist to work as part of the team managing the University's website migration & rebuild project.

The University's new website will focus on clear, relevant, search-friendly, and accessible content in tandem with developing an engaging user experience for the University's targeted audiences and the Web Content Specialist is core to the success of this.

The successful candidate will be taking the lead in both editing, writing, and publishing content on the new website while working closely with our content owners as they create and maintain web pages and sites in line with their strategic objectives, helping them to put content plans into action and achieve their goals

Working with the Website Project team, the Web Content Specialist will develop and deliver training on our new Content Management System and on the best practice principles of creating content for the web. As part of the team, the Web Content Lead will help to develop, and encourage the adoption of, our new web and digital publishing standards and communicate and implement our governance structures.

Senior Executive Assistant: €46,241– €56,265 p.a. (7 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
