Overview

We are supporting a leading financial services organisation seeking a Sourcing Specialist to contribute to its long-term sourcing strategy. This role is key in ensuring procurement efficiency, supplier compliance, and effective contract management, while supporting broader sourcing and category strategies.

What's Involved
  • Handle projects valued up to €500k.
  • Research and identify potential suppliers, capturing data on capabilities, pricing, and compliance standards.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier proposals, conducting due diligence, and ensuring alignment with requirements.
  • Prepare and manage sourcing documentation, including RFPs and quotations.
  • Analyse supplier responses and prepare comparison reports to support decision-making.
  • Support the negotiation, drafting, and administration of supplier contracts.
  • Manage day-to-day supplier interactions, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records, including contact details and performance metrics.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay up to date on industry trends, pricing, and supplier innovation.
What You Need
  • 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, ideally within financial services, IT or pharma.
  • Knowledge of setting up and using an ERP system.
  • Knowledge of supplier engagement, relationship management, and issue resolution.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Coupa, MS Excel and SAP.
