Windmill Healthcare is seeking caring, empathetic, and reliable Full-Time Healthcare Assistants to cover day and night shifts at Clarinbridge Care Centre, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway.

Clarinbridge Care Centre is an award-winning 56-bed facility with a dedicated Acquired Brain Injury / Spinal unit. We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our team.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work as part of our care team, delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting nursing staff in providing quality care tailored to residents' needs
  • Getting to know residents' interests and needs, providing attention, support, and companionship
  • Promoting residents' mobility and assisting to maintain or improve it
  • Helping residents with personal hygiene and appearance while maintaining dignity
  • Assisting residents with eating and drinking to ensure comfort
  • Organizing and participating in social activities
  • Communicating effectively with residents' families and staff to build good relationships
  • Maintaining cleanliness standards within the home
  • Contributing to health and safety standards
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Nurse in Charge and management

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in a healthcare environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
