Job Description:This is a great opportunity to join one of Ireland's leading Agricultural Machinery Companies as a Service Technician at our busy site in Ballycallan, Co. Kilkenny. In this role, you will perform diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on world-renowned Agricultural Machinery brands including John Deere, Lemken, and Kramer. Main responsibilities include:
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and AMS products.
- Maintain a clean workstation and assist with the overall upkeep of the workshop, including proper use of tools and vehicles.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Participate in demos and training activities as required.
- Travel to the UK, Germany, or Italy for training and skill development on the products we carry.
- Travel to perform diagnostics and repairs off-site when necessary.
- Complete all administrative tasks related to work, such as job cards and timesheets.
- Perform pre-delivery setup on new and used equipment.
- Mentor apprentices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualification in Agricultural Mechanics preferred; experience in service repairs is essential.
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to operate machinery, perform diagnostics, and carry out repairs.
- Good customer relationship skills.
- Excellent teamworking mentality.
- Training and support will be provided. Remuneration will be discussed during the interview process.
