· Develop and enforce health and safety policies in accordance with legal and company standards.

· Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols.

· Identify potential hazards through comprehensive risk assessments and relevant method statements.

· Implement measures to reduce risks and ensure a safe working environment.

· Deliver health & safety training programs, and toolbox talks, for staff, contractors, and site visitors.

· Prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policy.

· Annual updating, and maintenance, of company safety statement.

· Ensure that all accidents/incidents are reported, recorded, investigated and appropriate actions are taken.

· Work closely with site managers, contractors, and employees to address safety concerns and to maintain a safe working environment.

· Provide regular reports on health and safety performance to management.

· Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

· Proven experience in construction health and safety.

· A qualification to deliver certified manual handling courses would be an advantage.

· A qualification to certify harnesses would be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Location: In office and various sites when required
