Overview

Healthcare Assistant role at Kare Plan. Kare Plan is a family-owned care provider known for strong communication between care and office teams. We support our carers with accessible leadership and opportunities for development, including internal promotions and ongoing training.

We provide a range of training tools and simulations to help you understand clients' daily tasks and needs, supporting you to deliver the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and assistance to clients per their Care Plan, including personal care, toileting, meal preparation, moving & transferring, and supervising medication.
  • Observe, listen to, and engage with clients to support their wellbeing.
  • Be punctual, manage time effectively, and communicate changes or concerns to Kare Plan.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
Qualifications
  • Started/completed care skills and care of the older person or QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent.
  • Driver's license and own transport.
  • Reliable, dedicated, diligent, and trustworthy.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Hours, Pay & Training
  • Part-time and flexible contracts. You can choose your own availability.
  • Training modules in QQI (2 modules for trainee rate; full QQI for qualified rate).
  • Trainee rate: Mon-Fri €13.75; Sat-Sun €14.00. Paid travel time: €1.00 per hour (first and last call not paid).
  • Fuel bonus up to €175 per month (non-taxable).
  • Qualified rate: Mon-Fri €14.75; Sat-Sun €18.00. Paid travel time: €1.00 per hour.
