Career Opportunities:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Social Care Workers to join our residential care team in Maynooth Co. Kildare. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting individuals with their daily living needs while promoting their personal development and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing person-centred care and support to residents in line with their individual care plans.
  2. Assisting residents with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social engagement.
  3. Supporting residents in developing independence and achieving personal goals.
  4. Encouraging and facilitating recreational and therapeutic activities.
  5. Maintaining a safe and supportive living environment.
  6. Documenting and reporting on residents' progress and any concerns in accordance with organizational policies.
  7. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. A relevant qualification in Social Care, Psychology, or a related field (minimum Level 7 on the NFQ).
  2. Registration with CORU is desirable.
  3. Previous experience working in a residential care setting is desirable.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting others.
  6. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  7. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overnights.
