We are now recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer to join the team in Cork, Ireland.

Job Summary

This role provides engineering support and technical leadership specifically in Cleanline, Cleanroom, and Packaging processes within the Finished Good Value Streams, focusing on key business drivers such as HSE, Quality, Supply, and Cost.

The role also emphasizes process stability, leading and prioritizing VCP and CIP projects.

As a Senior Process Engineer, you'll collaborate with various functional groups, including NPI and Manufacturing Engineering, as well as with suppliers and sister sites running similar processes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • General: Support attainment of key business metrics through engineering support for value stream processes; eliminate safety and quality risks; lead cost reduction projects; design and develop tools, fixtures, gauges, and special equipment; develop stable manufacturing processes; prepare manufacturing specifications.
  • Hs&e: Promote safety culture; manage contractors/vendors for safety compliance; ensure equipment meets safety and environment requirements.
  • Quality: Manage validation for new consumables/materials; update manufacturing specs; close quality actions; ensure compliance with quality systems.
  • Supply: Support daily operations; conduct root cause analysis; manage projects and report activities.
  • Cost: Manage consumables budget; lead scrap reduction; identify cost improvements; contribute to value stream mapping; determine equipment layouts using Lean tools.
  • People: Collaborate with cross-functional teams; demonstrate leadership; foster a positive engineering culture.
  • Strategic: Work with leadership to develop and implement strategic goals; support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications

Essential: Degree in Engineering/Science with 5+ years experience; proven project leadership; decision-making skills; technical understanding; experience in Cleanline, Cleanroom & Packaging processes preferred but not required.
