In this role, you will manage the development of existing products in our portfolio, driving operational efficiency and continual process improvement. You will collaborate closely with the global management team to oversee both on-prem and SaaS products, while mentoring and guiding engineering staff.

We are looking for someone with a blend of leadership and people skills, along with strong technical expertise, to guide projects and teams effectively. You will bring together multi-functional and remote teams to execute various initiatives, making a significant impact on our product offerings.

Responsibilities

• You will manage on-prem and SaaS products.
• You will manage and provide direct technical leadership to a global team of product architects, engineers, testers and other engineering staff.
• You will work closely with Product Owners and Product Management teams to support design and development for new products and enhancements to existing products, and product lifecycle management
• You will work closely with our Legal team and security experts to build and guide implementation of legal and regulatory requirements in all our products and development lifecycles, ensuring compliance and security
• You will work together with our Engineering teams, advising on best practices to help ensure products are implemented with appropriate technology choices, gathering feedback and adjusting said practices as necessary
• You will guide the technology strategy for SaaS application development, cloud architectures and usage, and operations for all product families across the business unit.
• You will help drive awareness and action around concerns like high availability and performance objectives for all the product families
• You will mentor architects and software engineers within the business unit
• You will manage the backlog of work while negotiating priorities and evaluating impact to an ever-changing landscape.
• You will conduct all the agile and scrum ceremonies within the development team
  
  

Qualifications

Requirements:

• You should possess a computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent
• You should possess a minimum of 8 years' experience working in the software development industry
• You should possess a minimum of 4 years' combined management experience (resource/technical or combination)
• You should possess experience working with agile development teams
• You should possess e xperience working with highly remote and distributed development teams
• You should possess e xperience working with Azure DevOps for work tracking and release management
• You should possess e xperience working with On Prem product and/or SaaS Cloud products
• You should possess k nowledge of Azure Cloud Services and the ability to review and understand architectural diagrams and approaches
• You should possess high level knowledge of frontend and backend development best practices
• You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You shoudl be able to work in a team environment to mediate and resolve conflict, solve problems, and make decisions
