Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a European Fund Manager to hire a Risk & AML Compliance Analyst on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct adhoc testing in line with internal procedural requirements, on the AML function and provide feedback in a timely manner
  • Conduct oversight of the screening functionality and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations in this regard
  • Draft and/or review client risk assessments and memos to make logical and supported recommendations on cases.
  • Reporting to external Boards (Cayman/UK etc.) and ensure timely and precise provision of information in this regard
  • Liaise internally with Compliance counterparts to ensure alignment in approach
  • Oversight of key controls to ensure effectiveness of the AML unit overall
  • Oversight of ongoing monitoring activities e.g., screening, transaction monitoring, periodic review, control of Investor database etc.
  • Relationship management with clients, internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates to the MLRO on oversight results and key projects
  • Monitor and report suspicious activity to the MLRO

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience working as a Compliance Analyst/ Specialist or Operational Risk
  • Prior experience working in Fund's, Investment / Asset Management or Financial Services
  • Strong AML experience required
