Job description

Kareplus West are recruiting for an On Call Home Care Assistant in the Roscommon Region.

We are looking for a kind, caring, and compassionate individual to join our team.

  • This role is a 20-hour contract per week with more hours available.
  • Hourly rate is €16 from the minute you leave your house.
  • All mileage is paid at 20 cent per kilometre.

Requirements:

  • Full QQI Level 5 preferable or minimum 2 modules: care skills and care of the elderly.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Available weekdays from 8 to 8 & every second weekend.
  • This does not mean that you will be working all these hours but be available to cover clients should our full-time staff call in sick or are unavailable for any other reason.
  • Sometimes that means working more than the 20 contract hours, but you will be paid at the contract rate for the extra hours; if we can't provide you with 20 hours, you will still be paid for 20 hours.
