What You\'ll Do- Be a surgical superstar – Lead scrub support in state-of-the-art theatres, assisting with cataract and ophthalmic procedures.
- Patient-first, always – Admit, prep, support, and discharge patients with empathy and clinical confidence.
- Keep it safe – Administer medications, document care, and uphold the highest standards in infection control and governance.
- Gear up – Prepare and manage all theatre equipment, ensuring everything's ready for action.
- Be the glue – Collaborate closely with Consultant Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, and theatre teams to deliver seamless, life-changing care.
- NMBI Registered Nurse with a passion for surgical care
- At least 1 year's post-reg clinical experience (theatre experience ideal)
- Calm under pressure, meticulous with detail, and always patient-centred
- Confident with clinical IT and Microsoft Office tools
- Flexible, adaptable and a true team player
- A real self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments
