General Medicine Registrar
Private Hospital | Ireland | Full-Time / Fixed-Term

An established private hospital in Ireland is seeking a highly motivated General Medicine Registrar to join its General Medicine Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic clinician to enhance their expertise while working in a collaborative, consultant-led environment with a wide range of medical cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients under the guidance of experienced consultants

  • Conduct patient assessments, including initial diagnosis, investigations, and treatment plans

  • Participate in daily ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings

  • Contribute to on-call and weekend rotas as required

  • Support the development of junior medical staff and contribute to educational activities

  • Collaborate with other specialties and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

  • Full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in General Medicine (or a relevant specialty)

  • Strong clinical acumen and a patient-focused approach to care

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Desirable

  • Experience in an Irish or UK healthcare setting

  • Interest in teaching and academic research is an advantage, but not essential
