We are currently on the lookout for Healthcare Assistants to join our team in The Residence Maynooth Nursing Home in Straffan Road, Maynooth, Co. Kildare, W23 H028.

At emeis Ireland, we are looking for Healthcare Assistants to physically or mentally support challenged residents in their everyday lives. The fulfilment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job. Experience and/or qualifications in caring for the elderly would be advantageous.

General Responsibilities:

  1. Provide care to residents ensuring their independence is promoted and that residents' dignity is maintained at all times. This will involve following your clients' care plan - assistance with personal care and mobility.
  2. Develop and maintain good relationships with residents and their families.
  3. Adhere to confidentiality policy at all times.
  4. Ensure resident safety through a high level of observation skills, accurate recording & reporting.
  5. Deliver high-quality care and assistance to our residents as per their Care Plan including personal care, toileting, moving & transferring.
  6. Observe, listen, and engage with residents.
  7. Be punctual and manage time effectively.
  8. Communicate any changes or concerns in relation to resident needs/care.
  9. Adhere to Health & Safety and Infection Prevention and Control regulations.
