The Role & What You Will Be Doing

In this role the successful candidate will lead a team to support the movement of product around the Viatris network to maximize Revenue attainment opportunities. This opportunity will require an individual to be structured yet agile with the ability to build standardised solutions.

• Lead a World Class team and drive the efficient flow of supply through the supply chain
• Develop an understanding of product flows; with an ability to understand and interpret the financial, physical and transactional flow of material through the Viatris network
• Proficient in the design of As-is and To-be process documentation aimed at removing non-Value add activities from the supply chain (Lean methodology)
• Drive collaboration through other functions to proactively eliminate blocks with the Supply Chain
• Responsible for supporting future integration initiatives to align to standard Centre of Excellence processes
• Proficient in the use of ERP systems; with the ability to identify opportunities to streamline or automate team activities
• Identify synergies and opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, firming cycle and run business models.
• Support global stakeholders with clear communications. Manage stakeholder expectations.
• Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders (production, quality, logistics, procurement, finance, IT, Master Data etc) and external stakeholders where applicable.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation, engagement and empowerment.
• Promote and communicate a culture of process improvement and the associated benefits cross-functionally within the organization from a Supply Chain Management perspective; actively challenge existing models by proposing alternative practices that will yield greater operating efficiencies and benefits.
• Deliver results. Viatris' supply chain operational metrics assess critical activities and identify actions that will sustain or enhance performance.
• Customer service is always the number one priority and operational metrics are designed to drive continuity in supply and reliability in customer service. Supply Chain Managers in Mylan own customer service and are responsible to make reliability and service excellence a habit.
  
  

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we're looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

• Previous experience as a Supply Chain Manager is required with experience managing a team.
• Proven supply chain management experience, encompass visioning, planning, critical thinking and systems thinking, communication, persuading, influencing, decision making skills and project management skills.
• Experience working in a matrixed global environment.
• Experience with dynamic and complex supply chains is preferred.
• SAP System knowledge
• Must possess exceptional leadership skills
• Demonstrated track record in successfully implementing long-term change both from cultural and operational perspective
• Proficient in process documentation and the use of Visio
• Successful candidates need to be change leaders in Viatris
• Other languages an advantage but not essential
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office systems essential
