Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Associate Director, Fund Administration, the purpose of this role is to provide a full range of fund accounting and administration services (Net Asset Valuations) to private equity fund clients. As part of a global team serving the largest Fund Managers in the world, you will:

  • Supervise a team of Fund Accountants in performing accounting and administration service delivery to customers and train staff on all aspects of the Net Asset Valuation process
  • Work with banks, auditors and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery to customers and completion of NAV
  • Approve pricing of portfolios ensuring all deals are priced following the applicable fund documents
  • Approve fee schedules including calculation of Carry, management and performance fees, ensuring all calculations follow applicable fund documents
  • Review and approve investor allocations for each NAV cycle, managing Capital Call and distribution process to Limited Partners, ensuring execution as instructed by clients and deadlines are met
  • Review of Sub-close event's equalisation workings and calculation of ticking fees as per the Fund Documents
  • Create ideas for improving the NAV process, technological improvements, and client reporting
  • Participate in multiple system initiatives and projects
  • Investran knowledge is preferred
Qualifications


• Hold a university degree in Finance/Accounting; qualified accountant or other relevant qualification preferred


• 7 years progressive accounting/audit/fund administration experience in private equity and at least 3 years' experience in managing people


• In-depth understanding of the fund industry with good knowledge of private equity


• Experience with accounting software: Investran
