Cpl Healthcare is currently accepting applications for Social Care Workers for our established client who provides exceptional care to service users with intellectual disabilities in North Cork and Co Limerick. Our client's main focus is to enable children and adults with disabilities to live the life of their choice to their fullest potential. This care is delivered through day services, residential services, respite care, and home support.
There are current positions available in the Buree location in Limerick.
The successful candidates will have:
- A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or a relevant qualification, or eligibility for CORU registration, or be CORU Registered.
- Experience with adults/children with intellectual disabilities.
- The ability to work on their own initiative and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- Full manual driving license.
The successful candidate will:
- Ensure the needs of service users are met.
- Teach daily living and social skills to service users through daily activities.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with service users.
- Engage in activities and household tasks.
- Keep accurate records of service users' documentation.
- Perform other tasks as required within the role.
