We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Leisure Centre Manager to join our award-winning team and manage the daily operations of our exclusive Leisure Centre, open to residents only. With a small but dedicated team of staff, you will have the unique opportunity to make a direct impact on both the operation and atmosphere of the centre.

About the Role:

As Leisure Centre Manager, you will oversee the Leisure Centre's facilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and managing activities that promote health and wellbeing for our residents and staff alike. This is your chance to create a positive, welcoming atmosphere while managing a variety of exciting wellness initiatives.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  1. Overseeing the daily operations of the Leisure Centre, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards.
  2. Managing budgets, schedules, and staff rosters to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of services and facilities.
  4. Organising and managing seasonal Kids Camp activity club and other wellness initiatives.
  5. Coordinating fitness classes, wellness events, and other activities to promote active lifestyles.
  6. Representing the hotel on the Hodson Bay Group's Health and Wellness Team.
  7. Maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times.
  8. Addressing customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly.
  9. Recruiting, training, and managing a small, dedicated team.
  10. Promoting a positive team culture and encouraging professional development.

  1. Proven experience in managing a leisure or recreational facility.
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  3. A passion for promoting health, wellness, and active lifestyles.
  4. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  5. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  7. Relevant qualifications in Lifeguarding, leisure studies, or a related field are desirable.
