AtkinsRéalis: Senior Structural Engineer Role in Dublin

At AtkinsRéalis, one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer based in our Dublin office. The successful candidate will work in a structural team within a multidisciplinary environment on a variety of projects, including Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Housing, and Education sectors for both public and private clients.

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, responsible, and a team player.

Key Duties:
  • Lead Structural Engineer within multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Design input and oversee delivery of structural components of projects.
  • Prepare project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction) and communicate complex technical information clearly.
  • Present design concepts via PowerPoint presentations.
  • Develop fee proposals and quality submissions for design contracts.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders via email.
  • Oversee preparation of design drawings and calculations for review.
  • Undertake duties as Ancillary Certifier for C&S discipline.
  • Manage design budgets financially.
Desirable Skills and Attributes:
  • Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or Institution of Structural Engineers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with effective workload management.
  • Experience in structural engineering design delivery.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with structural design software (Robot and Tekla Structural Designer advantageous).
  • Experience as Project C+S engineer on multidisciplinary projects, including client meetings.
