Location of Post: One temporary, part-time position available in University Hospital Galway. The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as needed. A panel may be formed for Galway University Hospital from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
Post Specific Related Information:
- Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in the area of Termination Care as relevant to the role.
- Have undertaken or agree to undertake, within an agreed timeframe (3 years of commencement of this post), a programme of study in the specialist area of crisis pregnancy.
- The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a programme of study in the specialist area of Early Pregnancy Scanning within 2 years of commencement of the post. Failure to successfully achieve essential milestones within this timeframe will result in termination of the CNM 2 / CMM 2 (Pregnancy Options Midwife) contract and return to a previously held substantive post or re-deployment within the organization.
