Farm Worker – Part-Time

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Farm Worker to join a large beef and sheep farm near Adare. This is a part-time role offering steady hours, variety in day-to-day tasks, and the opportunity to work with livestock in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Beef cattle and sheep management (including dosing, hoof care, and feeding)
- Lambing support (December-May; experience helpful but training provided)
- Farm maintenance: fencing, machinery work, and general upkeep
- Adhering to Department of Agriculture regulations and farm safety standards
- Grassland management and spraying (valid certification required)
- Full, clean driver's licence
- Tractor driving experience and licence to tow (essential)
- Flexibility during lambing season and for occasional emergencies
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Weekdays: 3 full days (8:30am – 4:30pm)
- Weekends: 4 hours split shift (8:30-10:30am & 2:30-4:30pm, Saturday & Sunday)
- Every 3rd weekend off
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on farming experience, or for a candidate eager to develop their skills in livestock management and farm operations.
