What You'll Do

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Indirect Tax (VAT) Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Indirect Tax Assistant Manager, this role will support the preparation and submission of indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions. The role will also involve supporting tax authority audits and strategic projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or pivot into indirect tax. Prior experience is not required; we value a strong willingness to learn, organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidence in using technology to support tax processes.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions using dedicated compliance software.
  • Collaborate with Flutter's Global Financial Control (GFC) team on reviews and submissions.
  • Perform VAT return reconciliations to ensure accurate accounting.
  • Maintain indirect tax compliance processes and documentation for audits.
  • Support VAT query and audit documentation preparation.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable/Receivable teams on VAT on invoices.
  • Contribute to ongoing tax projects and tasks.
  • Assist with testing and maintaining tax technology solutions.
How You'll Do It
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, especially Excel; interest in systems issues.
  • Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in indirect tax or related environments is a plus.
  • Financial analysis and reporting skills.
