Emerald Locums are recruiting on behalf of a well-esteemed client for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join a Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT) based in Galway. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children and adolescents aged 0-18 who present with complex disabilities and/or developmental delays.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, family-centred care. The role involves assessment, intervention planning, and delivery of occupational therapy services to support the functional development and participation of each child within their daily environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and implement individualised care and support plans
  • Engage with families and carers to support goal setting and progress
  • Participate in service development and clinical supervision where applicable

Essential Requirements
  • CORU registered Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience working with children and/or in disability services is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills
