Our client a well establish Property Service Provide is looking to hire a Lettings Negotiator/Property Manager to join their busy residential lettings department.

The ideal candidate is driven and experienced and looking to enhance his/her career. The successful person will join the lettings team and look after their own portfolio of properties mainly in Dublin 6, 12 and Dublin West.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with landlords and taking on new properties; advising on rents achievable; photography of property; advertising, viewings, vetting prospective tenants i.e. the entire letting process.
  • The preparation of complete letting file including leases, bank standing order, and utility transfers at the commencement of a new tenancy
  • Routine and final inspections as required; annual rent reviews and lease renewals
  • Ideally be competent on LetMan system or similar and ensure good records are kept of all tenancies scanning, filing etc.
  • Communicate with Letting Manager regrading tenant and property maintenance issues as appropriate
  • Liaise with tenants, landlords and contractors in arranging all maintenance issues
  • Logging all keys in and out to contractors
  • Ensuring good follow through of maintenance issues ensuring landlords are kept fully up to date of any issues arising

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a licence for property letting and management. (PSRA C&D)
  • Experience in the property industry is essential
  • Must be a team player with excellent communications and interpersonal skills. It is an essential requirement of the role that the successful candidate is fluent in English, both spoken and written;
  • The ability to communicate and integrate effectively at all levels of the organisation;
  • Proven ability to effectively manage a high workload, multitask and prioritise work;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills a necessity
  • Ability to follow instructions with good reporting skills and follow up is a must;
  • Numeracy – accuracy is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and a pro-active attitude is an indispensable skill required for this role.
  • Own vehicle and full clean driving license
