As a result of a promotion within the team, we're seeking a Quality Control Analyst to maintain the high standards that define our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become proficient with over 10 types of clinical laboratory instruments and develop a deep understanding of their mechanical workings.
- Conduct routine maintenance on all laboratory equipment and perform hands-on troubleshooting when issues arise.
- Perform QC release analysis for Technopath products, including stability testing, bioburden analysis, and physical appearance inspections.
- Carry out value assignment and target value testing for our diagnostic products.
- Assist in technical investigations and respond to additional testing requests as needed.
- Collaborate with the QC team to analyse, collate, and document QC data in compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GDP (Good Documentation Practice) standards.
- Manage inventory of QC materials, including stock monitoring, preparation of material orders, and other related tasks.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and contribute to ongoing optimisation efforts.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the QC Manager.
What We're Looking For:
- BSc in a relevant Science field
- Experience in a scientific, clinical or similar hands-on environment.
- Troubleshooting skills and ability to perform maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Understanding of GLP and GDP standards.
- Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving ability and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
