TTM Healthcare Solutions are recruiting for a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist for a role based in a public voluntary psychiatric hospital in North Central Dublin.
The role is within the Adolescent Inpatients Unit.
This post provides a unique opportunity to join an existing specialist adolescent inpatient service providing multidisciplinary mental health assessments and interventions to young people and their families. The service works with young people aged between 15 and up to 18 years with severe and / or complex mental health issues where the level of intervention and care provided by community mental health services has not been sufficiently intense or the young person cannot be safely managed in other less restrictive health care settings.
Responsibilities- Contribute to multidisciplinary mental health assessments and interventions for young people and their families within the Adolescent Inpatients Unit.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver care for adolescents with severe and / or complex mental health issues.
- Provide clinically appropriate assessments and interventions in line with best practice for adolescent mental health.
- PSI registration
- Department of Health validation if qualified outside of Ireland
- Experience in Adolescent mental health/CAMHS
- 5 years satisfactory post-graduate experience
