About the job

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects, plan requirements with internal customers, and manage projects through their lifecycle, including scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication. You will explain analyses and technical trade-offs to both engineers and executives.

In the role of Global Network OSS and Data Communications Lead, you will establish and oversee the secure management and delivery of the Network Operations Support System for the Google Submarine Network organization. You will manage the lifecycle and performance of related systems, network services, and security protocols in complex environments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of network operations and data communications engineers, develop a long-term operational framework, and manage hardware/software lifecycle, systems, and protocols.
  • Provide operational requirements to development teams, contribute to API development, access authentication, and OSS functions.
  • Collaborate with technology suppliers, security, risk, and compliance teams to ensure relevance and security of Operating Systems and Network.
  • Manage network security, develop access controls protocols, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
