Job Description:

Our client is a leading distribution company based in North Dublin.

The role is based in the head office of an Irish headquartered international group. The candidate will be part of a small tax team reporting to the Group Tax Manager and will work closely with the wider Group Finance team.

The role offers an opportunity to gain international tax experience in a head office environment and to develop skills in domestic and international tax, including transfer pricing, M&A, and involvement in various ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities
  • Provision of tax support to subsidiaries on commercial projects and tax audits.
  • Preparation of transfer pricing documentation and calculations.
  • Development of transfer pricing policies.
  • Support with preparation of Irish and UK corporate tax returns.
  • Preparation of consolidated year-end tax provisions for group accounts.
  • Involvement in cross-functional projects and maintaining strong relationships with departments.
  • Liaison with external advisers on ad hoc queries and timely responses.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Finance/Business Degree.
  • Chartered/Certified Accountant with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Chartered Tax Advisor or equivalent qualification.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the EU.

  • Strong accounting/financial skills.
  • Attention to detail, organizational, and project management skills.
  • A desire to enhance technical skills, be challenged, and grow within the group.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with initiative, able to work independently and in a team, under pressure, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and processes.
